Purpose

I thought it would be useful to just type out some of the reasons I want to have this blog and what I’ll be focusing on.

I know there are many different bible reviewers out there but I was still finding that specific bibles I was interested in were hard to find. Part of the issue is that there are less and less stores that have bibles in stock along with the plethora of options. So I’m hoping to fill a gap in bibles that I find interesting.

One of those focuses will be on bibles with left aligned text. Since the Bible is intended to be read I strongly believe that all bibles should have their text left aligned and not justified. It creates a consistent space between words making for easier reading and there have also been studies done that show your brain has an easier time tracking where you are on the page. I’ll also be looking at bibles that take different and interesting design tactics. Whether that’s bringing in a different format or additional study helps that are not common.
